Heading to Tamworth and beyond saw the end of May and June right on its tail. How our time is slipping away quickly now. Making the most of every day, enjoying the scenic waterways which is the reason we are here. The BCF directory has a list by canals of who is where. There are three families on this part of the system, the first we came across were not home but we did catch up with them a bit further on, we spent a couple of days with Alan and Joan who are both unwell but we think they enjoyed having us visit. It was the Tamworth Festival Saturday then great to go to Church with Alan where we enjoyed their Cafe Church.
On our way again Sunday afternoon, we only do about 20 to 30 miles a day and there is so much more we want to explore.
Spring/summer has brought out the best of flowers which we are enjoying, some photos below.
